Lex didn't have any particular reason for being out on the grounds today except simply that she wanted to. The girl had never been claustrophobic but MERLIN, one look at that Common Room and anyone would be. Where did all those lions come from anyway? Whatever happened to their odd habits of hiding out in the Library and acting like Ravenclaws? That's what the majority told her they did anyway; the ones she only ever saw at feasts and big events. What was so special about the library? Don't ask her, she couldn't even proper remember what the inside looked like!

Alexa found the perfect tree along the pathways and hauled herself up into it. Good thing she'd drawn on shorts before leaving her dorm, even if she hadn't originally been planning to go climbing. She didn't go very high though, just high enough to oversee a bit of the grounds while still being able to watch people passing by.

It was notably cooler up here, seriously. She could see why Lottie liked climbing these.
