Christmas wandered up to the owlery with a letter to send home and saw a young boy watching his own owl flying off and said to him "So sending a letter home are you" Christmas found her owl and whistled her down and tied the letter to her leg and gave her owl a treat and took her owl to the window and let her fly off and she turned and waited for the boy to respond
