SPOILER!!: Tessa
[QUOTE=UnicornDragonPatronus;11500285]Tessa smiled at him. "Well, I'm sure I will be at some point- we've been all over Europe and North America. And, once I'm a Pro-Quidditch player, I'll be travelling even more. I'll definitely owl you," she told him with a grin.
She nodded, understanding but only partially agreeing. "I don't have any siblings," she told him with a forlorn smile. "But I think I can understand how they could be quite loud," she glanced over at her friends with a fond smile before returning her attention to Sander. "It is nice, but it gets so lonely... My Dad does a lot of his work out in the middle of nowhere," she explained. The woods were wonderful- for the first hour. Then she was ready for action and excitement- or at least more human contact.
"I would love to see it," she said, bouncing slightly as she leaned closer to him to see. "What else is around you? Are you in more of the country or the city?" she asked. She'd never been at a house for very long- or at least, not since she was very young.
She was glad she could make Sander laugh. She loved bringing out that side to people, but she also enjoyed the sound of his laugh. It made her smile just hearing it. "What are you thinking about?" she asked, tapping his forehead. "You look very deep in thought right now," she teased.
Sander laughed. "
So you're another one who loves this game called Quidditch too and you want to be a professional player? Well I want to be a professional player too only I'll be playing Ice Hockey. Who knows we may bump into each other at some sporting competition."
"
No siblings and you have to travel a lot? It must be tough doing that. I mean it's good that you are able to make friends easily but it must be hard to say goodbye to them. It does sound like a lonely life....soooooo....let's make a pact. Whenever you get lonely, send me an Owl and if I'm near your part of the neighborhood, I'll stop by and visit. Would you like that?" he asked Tessa.
....and some pictures of where he lived. Sander quickly pulled out a small book from his backpack and opened it up. He leaned closer to Tessa to show her some of his favorite pictures.
"
I live more in the countryside. I like being out in the nature. City life can be so chaotic and stressful. Here's a picture of the lake that isn't far from where I live. " Sander pointed out the picture to her.
I love to go hiking during the summer and this is where I just sit and enjoy the view and lastly, this is a picture of the lake when it is frozen. I walk out onto the boat ramp and then I skate on to the ice from there. " Sander flipped the pages one by one.
...and that was his home.
Then for some funny reason she tapped his forehead which made Sander laugh even more before he caught hold of her finger with his own.
"
Did I look like I was really deep in thought. You mean like this?" Sander quickly assumed the position of a famous
statue.
"
Or I was deep in thought like this?" Sander raised his eyebrows and made a comical face.
Then he grinned. "
Actually what I was deep in thought about was I was trying to figure out whether I had ever heard a badger make a sound or not. I mean we have them in our woods. Then I thought about the beavers too and that I didn't even recall what sounds they made either." Sander confessed to Tessa.
"
In all your travels, have you ever heard what sounds those two creatures make?" he looked at Tessa.
