Annabel heard once again, another voice welcoming her to Slytherin, she was smirking back to her. "Thank you," she said curtly, "I'm Annabel, but you may call me Anna." They'd get along just fine, she thought.

Lottie watched the other students interact and laugh and she didn't know what to do. She was going to be that weird girl sitting around people she didn't know, not talking to anyone. Great. Eventually, she sat down somewhere towards the end of the table and stared at the empty plate in front of her, making sure not to look at anyone. She figured if she just didn't look at anyone, no one would notice how many friends she didn't have.
Annabel spotted the older girl out of the corner of her eye. She looked nervous, slightly afraid and completely ridged. Was she okay? "Hello, I'm Annabel, but you may call me Anna, you are?" she asked, her voice seemed cold, but she didn't mean to right? She seemed a lot older, but not familiar with the group, just like herself.

Annabel heard a voice and turned to see a girl introducing herself as Sophie. She looked over her apperance quickly and then smirked a little more, she wasn't too bad, "I'm Annab, but please...call me Anna," she said, holding out her hand to shake.

Be friendly. Right. Okay. Go...
"Hi," she said with a tiny wave. Gosh, that took so much effort.
Another person welcoming her. She seemed slightly scared, but it doesn't matter right? "I'm Annabel, but call me Anna, and you are?" She didn't want her words to seem so snobby, but they still came out that way.
