She had been wondering where the girl was. "Hey there, Christmas! Where have you been?" She did not mean to be nosy, she had just wondered since she hadn't seen the girl since earlier when they were all on the train together. That was before she and Bay had gone off to get sweets at the food trolley. Quote:

"Well, I'm very happy for you then," she replied with a smile. She wasn't sure what Gryffindor had been for- brave or something like that? She certainly was, but every house seemed like it had a good quality to it, so she wouldn't have cared either way.
"Have you met anyone else from your house yet?" she asked, looking around their table. There seemed to be a small mix, although their current table was mostly Gryffindors.
"Uh-oh- did I hear there may be a tickle monster lurking around?" she asked, looking between Lux and Bay. As Lux looked over at Bay, Tessa took advantage of her distraction and quickly tickled her friend. "Gotcha!" Lux really wanted to start eating now, as she was hungry, but she had no idea how she would be able to do that while sitting in Bay's lap. She wasn't going to leave unless he tickled her, so he was probably going to have a harder time eating too. Oops. "I've met Adeline!" Who she knew Tessa was talking to as well. "And that's it so far." :/ Everyone else that she had met so far was in Gryffindor. She had yet to meet any Slytherins or Gryffindors.
Before she could dwell on that thought any further, Tessa had started tickling her. NOOOOOO. SHE WAS TICKLISH. Flailing slightly, Lux tried to get away from the tickling and not smack Bay in the nose while doing so. Quote:

Another student who had been home schooled like her and Bay. The more people she had met who had been taught at school, the more comfortable she felt about it. "It was rather boring. I want to try hands on learning. I would also love to try Quidditch, but I am scared of heights." It was rather problematic, since she did love sports and would love to be able to play. But how was she going to get over her fear of heights in order to do so? "Do you know what you want to do after you Graduate?" Wow, Graduation seemed so far away for this 12 year old. Would it just fly by in no time? Or would her school years seem to drag on? Quote:

"Indeed you may," he replied, bowing slightly and making the gesture of tipping a hat, "My name's Nicholas de Mimsy-Porpington," he introduced himself, chest puffed out with pride, though his ego soon deflated with these two yahoo's beside her. When a ghost suddenly appeared and started talking to Tessa, Lux gasped. She had never seen a ghost before and had forgotten that Hogwarts was supposed to have one for each House. Scared, she had no idea if she wanted to slide down off of Bay and onto the floor, or hide between Tessa and him. In the end, she ended up doing a little bit of both which was quite uncomfortable. It was obvious that she was no Gryffindor. :/ |
