Oooh a question though, one she had been meaning to ask him. That meant she had been thinking about him. Something that was definitely good for Recard's mind. "Tickets? Sure! I [I]am[/I working in the epicenter of the event you know." he grinned raising his eyebrows. "I was actually planning on asking you to come with me." he said taking a bite of his sandwich, and looking at her expectantly.
That probably made her day right?
Crime didn't have to sleep in Ellis's opinion, not with the prospect of possibly spending the Quidditch World Cup with Emily. She would have to go with him, duh.
Slow and steady, yeah, she could only imagine -- and in fact, no, she didn't want to. She had enough on her plate without thinking about other peoples work loads. "Of course, and I trust security is being taken care of?" how was that going? because that was perhaps all she cared about as far as planning was concerned. Silly things like this tended to remind her of Blaise, former Events Security Liaison... Merlin, she needed to fill that position.
Another bite of her sandwich, and a guzzle of lemonade later, she smiled at Ellis, her brows raising slightly, impressed. "The epicenter huh? That sounds important" and fancy, and even full on. Good for him, being all involved in things. Emily was in the process of swallowing another bite when he mentioned he was going to ask her to go with him. He was? Interesting. "You were?" Very interesting.
She took another quick sip of drink, something to consider these things, and to alleviate the awkwardness perhaps? "It's a shame you hadn't... I've already made plans." Which is why she was asking about the tickets in the first place. "I'm chasing five tickets." Cue awkward smile!shrug, and she didn't feel comfortable making that six, purely because she was tagging along with the Isaacs clan, not leading them. That being said, even though it was a large event, there was still the possibility of them bumping into each other - or meeting up even. "Still see you there though, probably." Maybe...
