"I'm Mo. Welcome to Ravenclaw," he reached down the table and offered a hand to the girl seated there. First years were so SMALL. "Do you play Quidditch?"

As far as greetings went, that wasn't the worst.

He gave a nod to the boy who seated himself nearby, although he didn't bother to reintroduce himself. Same greeting to everyone. "I hope they don't hold up the food forever, as they are wont to do. I'm famished."
Jun snapped out of his daze when he heard another boy talk. Well, the house captain that is. He nodded back and introduced himself. "I'm Jun," Sadly, he never formally met Mo, just mostly knew he was captain and a year older. But then he mentioned food and Jun's mood went up. Because who doesn't like food? "Long train rides do that to people. Don't think I can ever just survive on the snacks and whatnot," Jun couldn't. But maybe eating too much candy for meals was a bad thing too. Which is why his mum has made him cut down. But thankfully she can't do that while he's at school.

HA.

It seemed like that would be her only disadvantage here. She sighed in slight discontent at the fact that she would be just a small step behind until she became a step ahead.

"I've read a few books on it though. It sounds simply fascinating." Now she sounded like a book worm. Fantastic. So much for cool and collected. "You play though, right?" Why else would he ask her if she did? Everything had a reason.
Doing a bit of eavesdropping, Jun overheard the girl mention she was Muggleborn. "Well, you're lucky to be here now," he smiled at her. "You can learn flying and if later you're confident enough, maybe tryout for the team," Which was fun though you had to be quick. Jun didn't doubt the girl would learn fast. Mostly everyone did. "I'm Jun, by the way, Fifth Year,"
