"Hey, thanks, that's really nice of you." the Badger smiled and sat next to the Gryffindor. "I'm Adeline." introductions were a good start.
"Oh not at all…" he smiled back at her.. moving over a little bit.
"hey Adeline, I'm Bay.. well its Victor and Bay's my last name but everyone just calls me Bay" he noticed he seemed to talk a lot.

Since people were introducing themselves to him, Mitchell decided to do the same. "Hey." he said looking over at the newest member of the table. "Name's Mitchell." the American boy said.
"Yeah. I am." Mitchell said with a grin. "I'm Mitchell." he replied. "Honestly... it's a lot to take in." But that could have been cultural differences. Things here were a lot weirder than New York.
Now he was being hugged. ... why? He didn't didn't even know anyone...? Mitchell looked around before spotting a Lana around his middle.
"Hey Lawn Gnome." he said with a smile. It was pretty cool that he knew someone here already. "We're in the same house thing?" That's what they were called right?
... maybe he should read that history book. Heh.
"Nice to meet you too Mitchell. are you going to be trying out for quid ditch?" he asked the other boy.

"I'm Tessa," she introduced, figuring introductions were the best way to break the ice.
"That's it then," Tessa said with a firm nod. "We'll see if we can find out the spells needed to create such a ceiling. I warn you, it may take a lot of research, and I don't plan on spending a lot of time with my nose in a book," she said, laughing. "It would give my father quite a scare too," she added.
"Stop! You're making it worse!" she said, wrapping her arms around her grumbling stomach with a laugh. "They won't make us wait too long, from everything I've heard they don't want to torture us here," she joked.
Bay seconded Tessa's question with a nod, wondering when the foods coming.
"Oh I can do all the studying I really want that Ceiling or at least my closet ceiling…. hide it from the parents"
Bay had to laugh where he almost fell of his seat
"sorry…. really…" he felt so bad making Tessa hungry but it was funny as well.
