Brown eyes drifted to the squirming frog and Brynn nodded lightly to Bart's words. The little thing seemed more trouble than it was worth in her opinion, but she didn't say much about it. She thought Bart was lucky to be bringing a pet at all and was sorta sad that she couldn't bring Maddox or even Mimi. She had half hoped that her mother would have even gotten her an owl for her birthday so she could take one, even though she thought that would have been kind of a lame gift. Plus she knew her mom spent a ton on her wand.

"Frog legs?" Brynn wrinkled her nose at the thought but then laughed as she figured her friend was just joking anyway. "I think he might really run away if he knew you were thinking of that." They sounded gross anyway.. had Bart ever tried them? She looked up and gave her mother a small smile as she felt her hand on her shoulder. The eleven year old knew she would be right behind her and hoped that she wasn't mad that she wandered away from the barrier to find her friend. At least she didn't look mad.

She looked from her mother to Bart, hearing his words and smiled a little. She didn't know a whole lot about the Hogwarts houses, but she sure hoped that they would be in the same one. She didn't know anyone else, not really, and it would be much more fun that way. "I hope so," she grinned then bit her lip slightly at his next words. Nothing to be worried about, sure.. well, she couldn't help but to still be nervous about going away to school. And then she blinked, slightly startled, as Bart yelled very loudly. Oh.. was Luc here? She figured he would have come with Bart anyway but he must have been talking to another friend or something. She stood kind of awkwardly and gave a little half-wave as he didn't seem to see her or something, talking to Bart and the babies.

The redhead looked over at the crying babies and smiled at Bart's mother as she greeted her. "Hi Mrs. Maroon," she said before glancing at the one who was crying the most. Wow.. she couldn't imagine that going on at home all the time, but she thought they might be neat once they got a little older. And, oh.. there was the train! Brynn's widened eyes snapped towards the shiny red locomotive as it pulled into the station and she smiled in spite of herself. Sure, she was nervous.. but it was here! It was really here and it was time to go! "There's the train!" The eleven year old turned to her mother with a nervous smile and impulsively gave her a hug, not caring who was watching. She would be leaving for a long time and she knew she would be homesick. Mom was getting a hug.

Anwen smiled lightly at her daughter and her friend as the two conversed. She was a little (okay a lot) nervous for her daughter to be going off to school on her own but she was glad that Brynn would have a friend to look out for her somewhat. She smiled knowingly at Victoria, glancing at the crying babies. How difficult it must be to have twins but the woman had several teenagers and a husband to help out.

And the train was here? She heard it arrive before she heard her daughter's exclamation. Wrapping her arms around her, she gave Brynn a hug as she turned to her. "Be good and have fun.. I will owl you all the time" She wasn't ready to let her go, but she supposed she had to. "I love you and I'll miss you," she whispered right in the girl's ear so only she would hear.
