Taylor smiled at her friend, "Owl me when and where for the Hogsmeade and I will come visit you, as well, Lily. Im so going to miss you." Tay held her friend close and tight before letting go and stepping a few steps back.
Taylor beamed as Lily hooked arms with her and dragged her to the North End. Tay laughed and smiled at her, "Good because I am here for only you. I dont want to see anyone else." She laughed and smiled at her, "So how long do we have until we have to have our teary goodbye? Or at least I will be teary." She gave her friend a half smile and looked at her. "Oh! Presents! It is time to open your presents!" Tay clapped and pointed to the 3 boxes that she had placed on Lily's trolley. "I hope you like them."
Lily had a bit of a frown on her face as they spoke about her father. She really didn't want to dwell on the thought, especially right before her last year at the school she had learned to love.
"Yeah... yeah, I'll owl you. Don't have too much fun at uni. I don't want you to think that you don't have to come to my quidditch matches when you can." The seventh year said, prodding her bestie a bit.
Once they were actually on the platform, Lily laughed at Tay not wanting to see anyone else. That would be kinda hard to do considering they were on the only platform for the train to Hogwarts. The redhead looked at her new watch when Tay asked how long they had before the train would be leaving.
"Not long... So I guess I really should open the gifts, huh?" Lily said, teasing a bit. Sure she would miss Tay, but it wouldn't be much longer before they would see each other again. Nonetheless, Lily started with the big present and unwrapped each one, pulling Tay into a huge hug after the last one was opened.
"Thanks, mate. You really didn't have to do this." Or at least didn't have to get her anything. She did have to come to the platform since Lily wanted someone to send her off.... especially since the train was gonna be leaving in a few minutes.
"I suppose I should get ready to head off..." The seventh year muttered, packing her gifts into the backpack that Lily pulled out of her pocket with no issue.
"I'll see you soon, Tay" The seventh year said, hugging her bestie tight before heading off towards the train.
