Now a few things first." She eyed her son, "No trouble making here. One letter and you will be grounded. Get expelled again and you will be headed to muggle school mister do you understand me?" He better understand, because she was not putting up with this.
Now pulling out her purse with a free hand, easily keeping a hold on Alana's little body with the other. She pulled out the money, bag of sugar quills, which a little extra of course, and finally his wand. "Bartholomew Winston you best be on your best behavior at this school. It doesn't matter which house you go to, just try your best and please for the love a Merlin don't blow anything up." She couldn't handle anymore of that.
Bart rolled his eyes at Alana did she ever stop screaming? It didn't seem like it to him at least. Couldn't stupid Indy have watched them, why did his mother have to bring them anyway. Oh well he didn't care as long as he got his stuff and then the lecture started. He squirmed and looked around. Really was anyone watching he hoped not. "Mum.. I get it.. now stop you are embarrassing me." Really did she have to do that here. He took his things quickly from her hand and pocketed them bumping his frog Toad in the process. The frog wiggled free from the pocket and went bouncing away. "NOOOO... RUN AWAY FROG" He yelled as he left his mother and went running after the hopping creature. Diving and landing next to it he scooped it up into his hands and looked up at the pair of legs in front of him. "Brynny you made it!" Getting back to his feet he looked around, "Mum here?" He wasn't sure if she would be or not given her issues, but he couldn't see her letting Brynn be alone and doing things so adultish yet so the woman had to be close by. "Ready for the train ride?" He wasn't earlier, but now that it was here and he got to walk through a well, he couldn't help but be a bit excited. "Did you like going through the wall, it was so cool!" Well he thought it was at least. Brynn watched the wall for a moment, waiting for her mother to appear, but she couldn't help herself from looking around the rest of the platform. It was just so noisy - and exciting - with all the wizarding families ready to see their kids off on the train. And the train? Was it here yet? The eleven year old craned her neck, looking for it to arrive. She had heard it would be red and was eager to see it.. eager to ride on it..
She looked around at some of the crowd when a movement her way caught her attention. A jumping frog. That reminded her of Bart and she giggled a little before she actually saw him appear before her. "Bart." She grinned when he looked up and she saw it was actually him and his frog. "Yeah, she's.." She looked over her shoulder to see that her mother made it through the barrier and was now headed their way. "She's right there."
The train.. was it coming yet? She looked down the tracks again at the mention, still no sight or sound of it. "Yeah.. I guess so," she said with a nervous smile. She was excited to go yet she was really nervous and kind of afraid at the same time. Bart might have gone away to school last term, but she had never been away from home for that long. But maybe she didn't want to admit what she was feeling right now. It was just as she remembered when she was a child, walking through the barrier was slightly intimidating if you had that nagging fear of smacking headfirst into it, but she was confident enough to get through it, especially once she saw her daughter was successful. And speaking of Brynn.. She had half-expected her to be standing just on the other side of the barrier, but she seemed to have wandered away.
Anwen did her best not to panic. She knew her daughter wouldn't have gotten very far and she would have to let her go eventually. She was going off to Hogwarts for most of the year after all. Her brown eyes searched the immediate vicinity until she spotted Brynn not too far away. Oh look.. she had found Bart.
She walked over to the two children, smiling lightly as she approached. "There you are," she said placing a hand on Brynn's shoulder before looking over at the boy. "Hello Bart.. Ready to go off to Hogwarts? Where's your mother?" Certainly she wouldn't have just dropped him off? She knew the woman had her hands full with newborn twins but she was certain that she would be at the station as well. She'd like to say hello, maybe take a peek at the babies if she had brought them also.
