Astrid really hoped that all those stuff she was saying made the younger girl feel better. Because Merlin knew that she talked a lot. Like seriously, she'd sent the Howlers to shame... minus the unpleasant stuff. Astrid would never say bad stuff, no. "Of course I am," she replied to the girl. "I'm going home to my Dad and I might even visit my best friend." And now Astrid was the sad one. She missed Cleo and Beauxbatons. Sniffle.

"She sounds like a really nice pet," Astrid said. AND FLUFFY TOO. Fluffy was important because furry pets meant nice cuddle buddies. That was a thing, by the way. She liked those. "So... does that give me permission to peek or something?" She was being obvious that she wanted to see the sleeping kitty. Heh.

Her name. OH RIGHT SHE HAD FORGOTTEN THAT. Oops. "I'm Astrid," she said with a curtsey. Yeah, old habits die hard but this one wasn't going anywhere. She'd grown up making this a thing, so yep. Tall!Person? LOL. 5'3" was sooo not tall, hello... but for the little girl's sake, she'll play along with it. "What's your name?"
