Caleb heard someone call out, but he assumed they were talking to someone else. It didn't SOUND like one of his friends calling out for him, after all. He turned and noticed someone looking at him - the girl who had called out. Apparently she was talking to him. Huh, how about that. He smiled.
"Um, hello. I'm Caleb," he introduced himself with a smile. He eyed the cat in her arms and decided to take a little step in the other direction - just in case the cat was currently picturing Beans as his or her next meal. Precautions and stuff you know.
