Kamayka delicutly floated to the back of the line of the old, rather gloomy shop, uncertain that
this was in fact the place that the
best wands, supposedly in the world, were made. Ahead of her, she saw a boy about her age blinking confusedly at a small, whirring,
floating, tape measure.
Kam cocked her head from side to side with amazement; she still wasn't used to the wonders of magic since her parents had refrained from teaching her the ways of witches and wizards until she had received her letter from Hogwarts.
As the measuring tool completed whirring around the small boy, it zoomed up to Kam, and after several swooping, flitting movements in which her torso, forearm, and head were measured, continued to the next girl in line.
