This was Leah's first time in such a big fair and her biggest worry was getting lost in the crowd. She filled out the application form on top of the table whole-heartedly and stood in line patiently, waiting for her turn.
Leah was getting bored fiddling around with the piece of parchment in her hand when she noticed the girl just in front of her. Since she was so eager to make friends all summer and the girl looked her age so Leah decided to talk to her. "Hi, are you a student in Hogwarts? My name's Leah and I am going to my first year this term. What's your name? Oh, and what pet do you want to get today?" She fired off questions immediately, a littleover-enthusiastically. Blair turned to face the girl behind her and smiled. Oh a first year, she must be so excited Blair thought as she remembered back to when she first started at Hogwarts. To be fair, she was as excited if not more to be returning after the holidays. "Hey, I sure am. Nice to meet you Leah, I'm Blair," she replied whilst extending her hand.
Blair thought hard but she was still unsure, "To be honest with you I'm not entirely certain. I would be happy with any animal considering I haven't had a pet in so long." She giggled. "What about yourself, do you have a pet in mind?"
