Uggie ran in circles a bit until finally returning to Jun. He wagged his unique tail and waited for a toy or something. "Hmm," Jun looked around and found a stick for Uggie to fetch. He'd still go after it, right? Well, Jun threw the stick, maybe a bit too hard and his crup ran after it nonetheless. But he ran too far. He noticed Uggie heading towards a little boy and his newly adopted owl.

That was never a good sign.

"Hey, Uggie! Don't get too close to the owl!" he chased after him. He really hoped the boy didn't mind. Jun finally caught up to his pet and held the stick in front of him. "Sorry about him. A bit hyperactive, I guess," He apologized to the small boy.

Altair was stroking the feathers on Merlin's wing, when some sort of dog was darting straight for him. Merlin let out a screech and took off to the top of the tower. He couldn't blame the owl, he'd be unsure too. Because even though it looked like a dog, from the moment he arrived here, Altair realized things weren't exactly as they appeared. He rolled his eyes at his owl's reaction to something so sweet, but since his owl was away, he figured it wouldn't hurt to pet the pup. "No, no...it's alright!" Altair chuckled at the bouncing "dog."

"Is it a terrier?" he asked. It was probably a foolish question to ask the older boy who addressed him. He was clearly much older than Altair and was more familiar with magic and whatnot. "Sorry, this is all kind of new to me." He forced out a smile as he bent down to pet the tail-wagging...well, whatever it was.
