He watched as Emily grabbed more scrolls and he contemplated doing the same. And then question again. Bradley just shrugged. "Yeah. I mean, it's just something kids do. They cry a lot most of the time if you don't at least take it and pretend to eat it." Even though he usually went the full mile and just ate whatever was handed to him.
Oh Merlin. Manly pouting... what was with that? Emily stared, watching curiously at his response, her head nodding from one side to the next. Huh. "Of course it is," she said dismissively. She was a Department Head, not a fangirl, and considering he was still a perfect stranger there would be no pet names. Obviously.

Balancing two of her scrolls on the palm of one hand, Emily used the other to continue eating her first. Coming to the food court perhaps wasn't such a bad idea after all... even if the line was slooowww. "Uh huh.." she mused, considering the whole crying thing and pretending to eat. It was perhaps a little out of her range of comprehension. Children.
"I suppose making them cry is counterproductive," she noted, cause you know, crying children didn't exactly scream content and well looked after.

Emily nod her head, indicating they should move forward as the line continued. Holding the pasty in her mouth a second, she fished in her pocket for her galleons and handed it over to the food court assistant patron person. Once she received her change, Emily slipped it back in her pocket and removed her scroll.... there may have been a bit of cinnamon dusting on her lip, but she was oblivious, no doubt she would lick it off in due time anyway.
"I best be off... things to do, people to wrangle," she joked, "it's been nice meeting you Brad," she farewelled.
