Ohh, a pet adoption!

Sophie grinned and approached the table. Wait. Did she have to have a parent with her? Because she didn't. Mainly because if she did, she'd probably not be able to even ASK for an application, much less fill out one and take home a creature. She eyed the lady standing around. She looked like she might understand. Like she might be that cool older adult that let the kids get away with whatever.

Maybe. Maybe Sophie was just dreaming, too.

She decided to try her luck and approached the adoption table. Anybody want to help a kid standing here all by herself?!
