Two cats wouldn't be too happy with yet another cat. Or a kneazle. Or a...
...crup.
Lewis was watching Kurumi instead of the crups she was gushing over, smiling to himself about her reaction. Eventually he did take a step closer and took a closer look at the little creatures. They WERE quite adorable yes. He listened to Kurumi's words when she talked about how she missed having a dog (first warning) and then came the words he had sort of dreaded. "You want to adopt a crup?" His eyes were back on hers, while he tried to keep his voice even. And yes he was well aware that he'd simply repeated her request.
Giggling at one especially excited crup, Kurumi bent over to scratch it behind the ears. This mostly resulted in drawing more attention from the others who came bounding over, yipping and yapping all the way. Her smile continued to widen and there was that definite twinkle in her violet eyes. "
Aren't you just the most adorable thing in the world," she cooed in a baby voice as she continued to scratch behind its ears. "
Except for the dragon hatchlings because they are just too precious for words."
Baby dragons would trump any other creature any day.
She stood back up straight when Lewis spoke, a small pout forming on her lips. "
You mean...you don't want one?" She wouldn't force the matter on him, of course, but all these poor creatures that needed homes. She would adopt the entire lot of them if it were possible. She briefly looked back at the pack of crups that had gathered in front of them, their forked tails wagging like mad. "
But look at that. He is so happy to see you!"
Okay, so maybe she would push a little.
