She was used to being neglected and not exactly welcome, though, so it didn't faze her. It was kind of becoming the norm.

"Until graduation, thankfully!" Cardigan said cheerfully, meaning every word. She felt much more... right, here at Hogwarts. Sure, she had many more friends at Salem and held a higher position in the school hierarchy, but all that just wasn't enough for her. In all honesty, she was more than glad to be back. Who wouldn't?

"Enough about me," Cardigan quipped, not quite keen on keeping the subject on her. "What's up with you?"
