He waved his wand and went to check that the spell had worked, waving it again to see if the enchantment had worked, but...nothing. No indication that it had worked. He blinked. Slowly, he reached out, prepared to jet off to Berlin if it HAD worked...but his skin made contact with the tin can and nothing. Not a thing.
"Weird. Someone try and charm this portkey. I don't think it's working anymore," he said. What did you DO Jayden?? Jayden laughed softly. "Fair enough." He knew what it was like to just jet off and leave the world behind. He whisked his wife off for a few weeks when he proposed.
"Wrong places too? We've had a lot of luck with that lately." Did he know about the recent floo issues? If not, well, Jayden just spilled that bit of information.
Jayden blinked several times. What? He just disabled it. That was all. He took off his glove and took the portkey. "That's really weird." He took out his wand and attempted to activate it again.
... nothing.
He blinked a few times before setting the can on the table and watching it. "Haven't seen a portkey do that before..."
