Welcome to 100 Drabbles about my father/son duo RP characters - Cale Newell and his son, Caleb Newell! So many CALE's right?

A little background for those of you who don't know all the backstory of my characters - Cale Newell was my first big RP charrie that I really got into. He was a Gryffindor prefect from his 5th-7th year, and he married his Hogwarts sweetheart, Anna Greingoth (played by Anna Banana) shortly after she graduated a year after him. They had their twins, Sophie and Caleb, about a year afterwards, and now Caleb is in school with his sister! Cale has recently reappeared in the Ministry as my Department Head character.

I really want to do some drabbles to show their father/son bond and relationship. Anna and Sophie may be mentioned but will NOT be making appearances in these drabbles, quite simply because they are not my characters and I don't want to RP/write for them. We're focusing on the boys here!

79. Slytherin (Authors Choice)

“So, um, are you angry Dad?” Caleb asked softly. His sister and mum were both in bed, so he could finally ask his dad about his true opinion out loud without them listening.

“Angry? Why would I be angry, Junior?” his dad replied.

“Well, I’m not a Gryffindor, and you hate Slytherin!”

“I do NOT hate Slytherin,” Cale corrected his son sternly. “You’re my son, and I love you no matter what. Slytherin is a great thing – you’re cunning, smart, and strong. Why would I be angry about that?”

Caleb smiled.

“Thanks Dad.”

“Of course,” Cale replied with a grin.
