She really liked that nickname, did he know? And the smiling and hair ruffling was adorable. Ella just sort of took a second or more to watch him, this stupid smile playing on her lips. "The making you love me more thing?" Now it was her turn to be sheepish. "You're doing it too." So maybe that made them even? In any case, Ella reached over and gave his hand a squeeze just cause. It was nice being here with him. Better than bumper brooms any day.

"Caleb?" He wanted to bring Caleb along? That was...probably the sweetest thing ever. With everything going on at home, Ells was sure her little brother could use some fun. "Only when he was very small. I think he'd probably love to go to one with you, y'know." Alec being his hero and all. The little guy thought the hair ruffler was the coolest ever. As for the student leadering thing, Ella shrugged and smiled. "It's not too bad, especially when you've got lots of help."

Eyebrows were raised because the boyfriend was avoiding her gaze and Ella didn't really understand why. "You okay, Alec?" Maybe he was just really hungry. Maybe.

Smiley boyfriend was smiley and that was the best thing ever. Ella liked it best when Alec was happy. And so the blonde smiled back, nodding along with what he was saying. "They work really hard on everything, the elves. I wish there was a way to repay them, y'know?" It was just something to think about while they ate. Speaking of, this éclair was ridiculously good. "Mmm."
