Adi gave Caleb a sly look.
"You're not scared, are you?'' Or would nervous be a better word? because honestly, eve he was nervous but he was trying not to let that show, blocking it with thoughts of riding the horse. That was a lot better to do!
"Come on, dude! Let's make a friend!'' he told the Snake in a cheerful tone. That was Adi's way of trying to make Caleb feel better.
He slowly approached the horse. This was his first time up close with a horse of any kind.
"Hi, there!'' He reached out with his left hand and touched it's sleek neck. The horse stood still, watching him.
"I won't hurt you.'' He patted the friendly horse as he looked around for Caleb.
"Caleb,'' the firstie called.
"Come on!'' This horse was a great one! See? It was now nuzzling Adi's hand. He could say that his nervousness was lessened somewhat.
