Rune? Rune rune rune... Alec ran a hand through his hair again as he thought. Did they need to pick one or could they just... use both? He looked over at Botros and the Raidho rune that the man had carved onto the horse's saddle. ... Right. "We could try and use both for... when we cast the spell, yeah?" he said, turning his attention back towards Wade, "But another rune... there are LOTS that could be useful, I guess. We could use Raidho? Like... Like Botros has?" This... was going to be hard. He only knew about the divination side, not... this.

"Or we can use that with... erm... with another rune? Gebo? It's about gift but... it's happier?" ... No, this was no good. Alec shook his head before continuing, "There's also... Naudhiz! Hey! Curly! That one's talking about... a need and distress and the Galdr for that rune helps to... relieve you from that distress, I guess? And it helps with forward motion so... if it's used in conjunction with Raidho..." Did he understand? Was Alec even correct in this?

... "So... let's get going!" Another grin was flashed over towards the older Hufflepuff before Alec started moving forward tentatively. He reached out a hand for the horse to sniff, so that it knew he wasn't a danger. "I... erm... hey there!" he whispered, grinning at the horse. Then, without another word, the boy slowly reached his hand out to start petting the horse. Slowly. Gently. And Wade was right here, yeah?
