Okay, she heard the gasping and would assume she'd offended the girl. To that she offered a small smile but only a small one because Lex still held firm to the fact that there was indeed no such thing as a naughty corner. But yes moving on. Alexa took the rune she'd be using from her friend then grabbed the textbook from her bag. "Here you go. You can look for them since I kinda robbed you of the spell casting." Trading spell work for reading was an unfair deal but then, Cassia didn't mind reading nearly as much as she did so maybe it was fine? In any case she'd just look them up if the girl protested....but not before giving her looks.

Go ahead so they could get this chanting thing over with, without scaring the horse ~~anymore than they probably already had~~.
