After all she'd said the girl had clearly missed her point. The aim wasn't to have a well-behaved horse that didn't end up in some fictional naughty corner. They needed a WAR horse because that's what Grani was and he served his master well. For this class they were the masters and these horses were meant to be Grani. See the connection??? Lex stroked the side opposite to the side Cassia was stroking. "Remember what I said about not listening to her? There's no such thing as a bad horses corner."

And no lying to the horse Cassia! It was bad practice!

Lex STARED at her. "I should stop? You mean you should. You're gonna make our horse soft! Wasn't Venom enough for you?? We're not molly-coddling this Granian too, got that?" Eyes on the horse again. "Look, we'll be fine, she just worries a bit too much sometimes, you know? I got this covered."

Glancing to the side, she saw Cassia raise her wand and assumed the spell casting was happening now...or not. "Oh for the love of Merlin." Lex nudged Cassia out of the way with her hip, put the rune Dagaz on her wand then aimed at the Granian. "Mutare fibula!" Slowly the wings folded in until they seemed to have disappeared completely.

"Not that hard, see?"
