After a sniff of the weird pastry thing, Emily stuffed it her mouth and finished it with a few good chews. It was similar to that of a quiche, only, with puff pastry type thing. The savoury goodness was appreciated.
"Mmm... it's not really," she said shrugging, "it's hardly original."

Brad shrugged. It didn't help that he was the one usually giving kids the candy, but he was going to keep that little bit to himself. "Kids will be kids." Better than being a grown up. That's for sure.

Brad opted for grabbing another bacon sandwich. It had been pretty delicious. "Doesn't mean it's not a good reason." It was true. Heck, if he'd been at least half interested in what his parents did, finding a career path would've been much easier.
