She took a couple of deep breaths to calm herself, seeing as they were in fact having a conversation now. An awkward one too. Like William had just pointed out earlier. Though, it was a different kind of awkward now. Alysson wasn't even sure if it was awkward at all. Or why.

Her eyes went back to his when he had a follow-up question to her comment. "No about the man over there." She used her hand to gesture at a random person to their left before placing it back on his shoulder again. "Of course you." She shook her head slightly, smile still in place but paired off with a confused raise of her eyebrows. What kind of question was that? His laughter eventually faded away until William was just left smiling faintly at Alysson. So what if they were awkward as a pair of blast-ended skrewts. They were having fun together.
William's smile widened a little bit. "But why me? I hope I don't make you nervous in a bad way, like in a 'you're about to be fired' way." Him, make her nervous. He still still couldn't wrap his head around it. "You make me nervous too," he admitted after a pause. "Nervous like... 'I hope I don't mess this up' kind of nervous."
