Brows raising, Emily nodded, pursing her lips as if she were mildly impressed. Of course, she didn't see him wanting to change divisions or departments any time soon, not that those opportunities weren't there... but she wanted to hold on to him in a more, officiating capacity. "I think I may be able to help you there," she mused, pausing to open her drawer to pull out his folder. "I'll cut to the chase shall I?" Planting it on her desk, she returned her gaze to the for-now prosecutor.
"How does Wizarding Director of Prosecution sound to you?" she asked, teasingly, "Is this something you might be interested in?" Cue grin.

Extracting the first sheet from the file, she nudged it in his direction with her index finger.

She'd help him? Was that supposed to be a sarcastic comment? Vic raised one eyebrow at her, not being able to contain himself and smirking instead of smiling. His eyes watched her take something from the drawer and then... oh.

OHHHH. Emily was promoting him?? sort of. She was offering him a promoted position. After a year and a half of his employment. Vic grabbed the sheet, containing his excitement, and tried to tone down the rash ambitious side while he read the possible new job's description. ' Wizarding Director of Prosecution'. What was he even looking for in this sheet? "I would love to." He knew she knew he'd say that. Scary boss lady was cheeky today. "I'm very... thankful that you see I fit this position." His voice was calm and confident, his mind drifted off just a little bit to what this promotion entitled. Celebration? Party? More days sleeping in the office, too.
