Alysson was too busy staring at something in the faaaar right corner of the food court to pay attention to what was going on right next to her. So naturally she couldn't get out of the way quickly enough to avoid somebody bumping into her. Nonetheless, she somehow managed NOT to spill her coffee all over her dress. "That was close..." She set her cappucino down on the counter next to her for a second, brushing down her dress to make sure that none of the drink had gotten on her clothes. It hadn't. Good. Alysson finally looked back up to see who it was that had run into her. "Oliver." What a lovely surprise. Apart from the whole almost-spilling-her-coffee part of course.
Smiling at him, Alysson picked up her coffee again. "How are you?" Hungry and/or thirsty probably?
Yeah that definitely was close. He was usually more observant than that and he gave Alysson an apologetic smile.
"I'm sorry." He said again and waved his hand towards the menu board.
"Was too busy trying to work out what I wanted."
He was very much glad that he hadn't caused her to spill her coffee because that would have been rather awkward.
"I'm good Alysson. How are you doing?" Did he dare ask about William? He had not spoken to his friend since the ball. It wasn't like Oliver to hold a grudge but William had really annoyed him that night.
