So he had taken her seriously. Well, it HAD sort of been her intention but saying it out loud like that had probably seemed a little blunt. Hence the light tone. Now she just smiled up at him for a second, unsure what to say next. "Good." That was such a lame reply that Alysson actually averted her gaze to his shoulder for a moment.
