He looked surprised. And to be honest, Alysson wasn't entirely sure if calling off their dancing was the answer either. Because going back to the seating area would probably result in another fight between William and Oliver. Or they would make up. Either way they would probably end up with Oliver and January again.

Her lips curled into an amused smile at his words. False pretenses? "Honestly? I just wanted to get you alone." She grinned to indicate that she was teasing him, even though it WAS quite close to the truth as well.
