"And I think we all can tell that, Laura," the Headmistress reassured the girl. Well, this was almost warm for her. Two years since her last detention! "Congratulations, Laura! Biscuit?" Bunz held out a little tin of milano cookies for the girl. She deserved one or two for her good behavior.

"It's all forgiven now." She rattled the tin of cookies. TAKE ONE, so Bunz could too. "Talk to Professor Hadley, talk to our new Care of Magical Creatures professor to see what advice she can give you, and keep working hard. If you focus on your studies, you'll stay out of trouble. All right?"

Her blue eyes flitted to the clock and then back to Laura. They were nearly done here, mmm?
