Department Head had its perks... entertainment was one of them.
The way her employees were coming into her office as if she'd laid out eggshells was hilarious, and the way they sat, quietly, until spoken to... it was brilliant. Truly.
"Water?" she asked, in an attempt to make Beckett feel more at ease. Not that he looked uncomfortable, but still. It was all a part of her experiment too.
She supposed she ought to start her line of questioning, draw out the process and then get to the point. Emily poured herself a glass half full before addressing the prosecutor.
"How are things going, Skander?" she asked casually, "Enjoying your time in MLE?"
