He then smiled when she began to describe her house. It seemed like a nice one, Gryffindor. Gryffindor had been one of his hopes for a house, but he preferred Hufflepuff way more now that he was in it. "That's cool! I'd have to agree with my house, I love everyone in it and the common room is really cozy." he told her. "Do you have a favorite class?" he then asked. He tended to ask this question a lot, it was interesting to hear everyone's different answers.
She smiled, giving him a nod.
"That sounds cool, I've always wondered about other houses!" Hufflepuffs were pretty cool, she had to admit. Out of the few she had met, they were all really kind and she learned a bit more out of every conversation. She turned her attention back to her book, but not before answering one of her favorite questions.
"I honestly can't pick just one, that's impossible for me. However, if I really had to choose just one I'd say it would be Herbology. I love plants, especially since I grew up in an orchard. They're fantastic!" She smiled. She was probably boring the poor boy, but he did ask.
"What about you? Any favorite classes?"
