"I'm a third year." she called over, as she got the milk and butter. A bit of a grin appeared at Tessa's words "Being a firstie wears off so fast. It gets tiring being called a baby, when you don't know half the spells and such you need for classes." UGH, she remembered that!

I'm going to write dad and tell him about how good our cupcakes are...and to tell him not to tell mom. She'll get mad if she knows I'm actually cooking them myself! Tessa thought in the process of retrieving the sugar, flour, baking powder and soda and the salt. What was the difference between flour and cupcake flour? Did they really need both of them? Heh. Good question. Need to ask mom about that sometime. I guess we can use both today...

"Oh yes, a bit of mystery never did anyone any harm." Tessa agreed nodding her head. Right. "Besides, why do we even have to have a middle name?" the Gryffindor asked shaking her head and sighing. She'd do anything to get rid of that middle name completely if it was up to her. Her parents insisted that she had to at least acknowledge that first letter though.

"You're almost half way, then. You know, to being done with Hogwarts." Tessa pointed out. Four more years and Zoe would be gone...off to the real magical world. NO MORE HOGWARTS. The thought terrified Tessa. "And then you'll have to find a job or something." What if she had to get a job? What if it was a job she didn't like? Good thing I still have six loooooonnnnnnngggg years ahead before that ever happens. Would it surprise her parents if she failed just to stay in Hogwarts longer? Probably not.
