Following someone that reminded her of her brother, Roxanne reached the area set aside for the department head meet and greet just in time to hear said brother clone introduce himself as Cale Newell to Harmony. Well, he seemed a little too excited to be here tonight. But since he hadn't been talking to her, she squeezed past them and dodged past Gidyun with a nod. And almost immediately regretted it as she was confronted with the other reason she wasn't in a very sociable mood this evening. Not that she begrudged the younger woman her promotion or blamed Wes' exit on her. Nor did she think that Emily would be awful at her new job. Quite the opposite, actually. Just that Roxanne would've quite liked that job herself. Working in Enviro. wasn't all it was cracked up to be, as anyone outside the department seemed to think that they only dealt in plants. Period. And explaining that, no, they were much more than that was getting OLD fast. Not to mention, she was missing the action the MLE saw on a regular basis. Which shouldn't surprise anyone that knew her.
Anyway, after giving the centaur fountain/sculpture a 'Really?' look, Roxanne leaned against the wall and waited for someone to approach her.
