"Well, you could meet her with me then," he said, a smile pulling at his lips. It was funny how, even after these years - they were talking like they were back in school. Like they had not stop being friends at all. The dating part had come later - but before that, they had been friends. And he actually appreciated this trait of hers - she was not acting like any other woman might have had if she were to meet her ex again.

Arm in arm, as they walked forward - Cole looked over to where she was looking. Kid? Who? "I have no idea," he replied. He really did not.

"You know we still have not had the chance to catch up," he said, as they walked inside. "So, what have you been up to?"
