Though there was Kat of course, the seventh year knew everything! That how the fifth-year saw her anyway. So she wasn't worrying at all.

The snake nodded her head at the older girl's words. They could maybe start searching for something easily fetched. Maybe see how the others did with bowtruckles. Ahem. Hopefully they don't accidentally come across one. What were the odds, huh? "Yeah, that's wise," she told the other blond.

Cassia continued walking alongside Kat, keeping her eyes glued on the path they took. IT was a forest meaning there was lots of bushes and plants, so she needed to be alert and focused to recognize what she was looking for. Most importantly, she was alert because this was a forest, the perfect home for flesh eating plants and merlin knew what else. That wandmaker was watching out for them, right!? It was his duty because he'd look bad if one of the students got missing or hurt on the trip that he organized. Professor Botros was there, too. Cassia allowed herself to relax a bit and concentrate mostly on the plant-searching. Which was a good timing since a certain something caught her attention.

Coming to a halt, the fifth-year crouched and squinted her eyes at a certain green tender plant with small leaves. "Is this not Dittany?" She pretty much wanted it to be. But she wasn't one to be sure, she knew plants but let's say she wasn't that close or interested to be one hundred percent sure if she spotted one. Good thing she wasn't doing this alone.
So now they had a common goal in mind, and that was to find three wand cores and a rowan wand wood. Kat just realised that it was a lot to obtain because, to her, any number larger than one was a lot. But for the sake of earning points and just having fun, she'd do it with no hesitation. Sure, it was a bit dangerous, but who cares? ... Alright, she did sound like a Gryffindor saying that, but whatever. Slytherins were just a little bit of every house. Smart, brave, and......... hardworking? Yeah, sure. Plus, she'd been studying for seven years. All the things she's learned from the past up to now were put to the test.

Oh, okay. Did Cassia just call her wise? Hmm... it didn't really matter to Kat if anyone called her stuff unless it was offensive. But, really though... watch the ego? Kat had an ego and now probably wasn't the time for that. The Head Girl smirked, just because. "Thanks, I guess." Still smirking. Hehe.

Kat kept walking and all, but not too far away from the group. She didn't want to get lost even if they both had flare stones. They weren't assuring that they'd be SAFE; it was just in case they did get lost and for emergencies. Lots were going through Kat's mind. Like, yeah, bowtruckles? She tried to remember how they were supposed to distract it but it would take a while for her to remember. It was Defense Against the Dark Arts stuff, but it wasn't exactly her best. Potions was the real deal. Also, for the Kelpie. They'd just have to use a placement charm, 'tis all. Here's to hoping they don't die in the process. Augurey feather would be easy too. They seemed harmless, after all, but yeah... creatures can not be trusted.

DITTANY? Did she hear Cassia say that? Kat immediately looked at her Slytherin sister and then to the plant she was referring to. Hmm... she squinted at the plant, then tried to remember what she learnt from Potions and Herbology. Those two subjects were related, so the Head Girl took the time to scan both of her textbooks. SQUINT SQUINT. She even touched a leaf, just to make sure. "Yeah, that's dittany," she nodded in affirmation. "Great job, Slytherin sis." Kat beamed.
