Let's face it, NOTHING beat factory made, professional charm added chocolate frogs. Those were sold world wide for obvious reasons.
Of course she perfectly understood his concern where the fire and the temperature were concerned. No need to have a big flame to light a simple stove. Lex made her way over and got it nicely lit. "All yours." She said with a grin, stepping aside so he could put the pot of chocolate onto the fire and get this melting thing underway. "I don't think I have to watch it, it does that on its own. I'll get the moulds clean while we wait to pour it in." That would classify as being useful, yes?
Lex walked back to the counter and picked up the first one. "Scourgify!" A basic cleaning charm would do the spell. No way she was manually getting them cleaned. "If these turn out good we could totally start our own business." She joked while examining another mould. "The Headmistress would gobble them without a thought for sure. She's addicted to the stuff." Oh. He had apparently misunderstood her when she said that she wanted to use 'Incendio.' Michael had thought she wanted to melt the chocolate directly with the spell, but he realised just how stupid that would be and he mentally kicked himself for being an idiot. "Okay." He also realised that he had essentially given her the easy job as he dumped the chocolate into the pot and gave it a few pokes and prods to get it to melt.
He alternated between watching the chocolate and watching her and he wondered if she had a boyfriend? He had never seen her with one particular guy, so he assumed that she didn't. The thought cheered him somewhat and he went back to stirring the chocolate.
Michael chuckled softly to himself when she mentioned going into business together because he had just been thinking the same thing. "Sounds like someone else I know." he said with a grin as he looked over to her. "You're not related to her in some way are you?" Hehe. That would be funny.
Giving the chocolate another couple of stirs, he took the pot of the stove. "It's ready." Well it was melted anyway. |
