History

Ashby Summers was born on 23rd March 2040 to Damien and Elise Summers. He was the first child of eight, and the first to be rather spoilt. His parents lived in a big manor in Wiltshire and for most of his childhood he was given everything his heart desired. His parents weren’t the most hands on parents, he rarely received hugs from his mother, but he did receive anything he wanted, which he believed made up for it.

By the time he was old enough to attend Hogwarts he had 4 siblings, and was very ready to get out of his steadily filling home. He was sorted into Slytherin house, a place that soon came to be a home away from home to him. Over the next few years he was joined in this house by the majority of his siblings. His youngest sister Brody was the only member of his family to not have been sorted into Slytherin.

At school he developed a fondness for astronomy and charms, the two subjects fast becoming his favourites. He could often be found in the observatory when he wasn’t out practicing with the quidditch team which he was beater for.

During his final two years at Hogwarts he decided that he would attend Wizarding University, choosing to study both Astronomy and Advanced charms. After graduating from Hogwarts he spent 4 years at the Cairo Campus before moving back to England, and becoming an astronomer within the ministry of magic.

After a few years working in the ministry Ashby was set up on a blind date with Hollis Banner, a woman 9 years his junior. Regardless of the age gap the pair hit it off, quickly getting rather serious. They married in late 2067 in an attempt to prevent a scandal within the community. Their first child, Maya was born in April 2068. A few years later their second child Michael was born in November 2070.

Within a few years the small family had relocated from England to mainland Europe for Hollis’ job within the Federation Internationale de Quidditch Association (FIQA.) Ashby took a job teaching Astronomy at the Naples Wizarding University Campus. In the year 2081 Ashby was offered the Department Head position within the Department of Mysteries in the British Ministry of Magic, which he took.

Personality

Ashby is passionate about Astronomy. It was one of his loves in life. His other love in life (apart from his lovely wife) is himself. He can be rather vain, although this had decreased a little as he has aged. He still cares a lot about his appearance, wanting to look professional at all times when needed. At home it is a little opposite, with him being a little more relaxed.

Although it seems like he loves himself a lot, he loves his family even more. His wife, and two children are very precious to him, and he aims to provide them with everything they could ever want, just like he had when he was younger.
