"Cut what out?" Cue innocent face. She made her most convincing confused face at Lex, pulling all the dramatics until the younger girl started blabbering again.

What? Another target? No. Nooo. "Why? I haven't ever had a target as brilliant as you." Really, she hadn't. More cooperative ones, most definitely, but the fun ones were the squirmy ones. Like Lex.

"Siccus Aerous." After tracing the next two tiny clockwise circles along the length of Lex's robes, Alice quickly shot another water-making spell at the fourth year, then ducked below the table to take cover.

Because surely she was going to get splashed back now.
