"We can get right into it." Honestly, she had no idea why she bothered to ask. Repetition wasn't her thing--
Wait...whaaaaat?
"Oh come on, you're acting like I'd blow you up...on purpose." Really it wasn't that big a deal. The fact that there was now water on the table told her Alice had already made up her mind on this. No casting at her face. Boo. You had to admit, it would have given her more incentive to get it right. Anyway.
Two little clockwise circles annnnd, "Siccus Aerous!"....It wasn't all gone but she'd gotten a good amount of it dry. "I think you can practice on the rest right there then we try again."
Except Alice had a feeling Lex was going to turn on HER when she was all dry, so the next spell she cast was another
"Aguamenti!" to ensure that her partner was the one being used as homework material. Having drenched the second year's robes again, she turned her wand on her experimentally.
"Siccus Aerous." The tip of her wand traced the two small clockwise circles along the length she wanted to dry, Lex's robes. Her spell had a bit more power to it than the younger girl's, probably due to practice, so there was even less water left over now.
Did Alice want to get wet? No. No, she didn't.
"Aguamenti." At least Lex wouldn't have to bathe for a while.
