"I'm sure Professor Hadley would be willing to write you a glowing recommendation, especially if you explained to her how much you've changed and how much this job would mean to you."
And if she still refused... well, Merlin forbid, Anastasia could put in a good word for the girl. If she had to.
Laura looked at the Headmistress and smiled. "I'm doing my best to change." Laura said truthfully, she had been a spoilt child when she first came to the school but since spending time with the Librarian after winning him at the fundraiser she had realised that the adults had her best interest at heart.
"It's been two year now." Laura had got one halfway through her fourth year but since then she hadn't got a single one, she had no idea it had been that long actually. She wondered if the sign-in person missed her or not.
"I'll have a word with Professor Hadley then." Laura was glad she had spoken to the Headmistress it had opened up her eyes and she seriously did want to work with animals when she was older. She just had to figure out which sort she wanted to work with. "I'm sorry I caused you all them problems when I was younger." Laura looked down at her feet whilst speaking.
