Ninety minus fifty-seven was....forty minus seven.... which put it at "Thirty-Three." she said aloud. "That's the latitude if you use the fifty-seven degrees in the equation, but as the stone is pointing with an arrow, I don't think it makes sense to use it to find the latitude. Polaris latitude would be..... forty-seven." Actually even if they used Polaris, Karina couldn't find a reason for the latitude to even be needed. Hmmm. She continued to watch the sky, just in case she could see something through the sextant.
