Standing at the door she took a deep breath. She could do this even without the support she had last, she could. One last breath she walked through the door holding her head up.
She stopped and nodded at Professor Lafay, "Hello Professor, hope you are doing well. She turned and headed towards the back like she did in the last lesson, but that didn't turn out well either with Tillstrom showing up and standing behind her. No Min wanted to show she was over things so she turned and went to her typical front row workstation. Putting her things down and pulling out her cauldron she got ready for the lesson to start. " I am, and hello to you Miss Wheatborne," She said and nodded in the child's direction. Quote:

Okay. Time to find a seat. Adi followed the older girl (Sky) towards the middle of the room and chose a seat. " Good Day Master Rehman." And she continued writing some notes as she sat at her desk. Quote:

" Hello Miss Eventide," she said to the girl. Quote:

At least until he approached the door. Once inside, Wade's eyes searched for the Professor before he found her at her usual desk, waiting. He smiled at her, "Hello, Professor Lafay.. Doing alright?" He waited to hear her response before making his way towards the cauldron closest to his Mouse friend, Min. He smiled at her before dropping his bag by his seat and getting situated before facing the front again. He wondered what they would be working on today. Oooo the Hufflestud was in the house... " Doing great... Congratulations on becoming Head Boy, Master Elisabeth-Potter." Quote:

So with a casual smirk he walked into class and took in Lafay's look today. Nice. Real nice. Smirk. "Hello Professor."
Now where to sit. " Hello Master Karten." She nodded to the boy. Quote:

Although from what he knew of her, he wouldn't have expected special treatment anyways. "Um, hello Professor Lafay," he said with a smile. Should he call her gran?? He couldn't remember ever addressing her before! What did he call her? Just PROFESSOR? What did he DOOOO? Ahhh the Captain's grandson. " Good morning Master Newell." She said. Quote:

Leisurely, she glanced around the classroom, just checking it out. Hecate watched the girl bid her hello, and reciprocated in turn. Quote:

" Master Odessa." She said irritated, " You have been in my class often enough to know I appreciate manners." And he one of her Slytherin at that! " You greet someone when you enter their classroom." Quote:

"I've just about finished sorting the stockroom Ma'am, just need to work on sprucing some of the labels." Just so that the Professor was aware she didnt go all the way to bother her over nothing.
She turned her head as her gaze scoped out the best place to sit-- ah one pretty close to the supplies cabinet. Of course. " I'll check your work after class to see if it's acceptable..." She said, " and good day to you Miss Huxley" Quote:

Pity the potions mistress had stopped bringing her kid to class, though. Mommy Lafay had been interesting. " Morning Miss Fischer" She said with a nod. Quote:

Still the same... but she'd miss it after graduation. And yeah, she was trying to push the thought away for a bit so that she didn't feel bad.
"Hello, Professor Lafay," Kat greeted her Head of House then went to take a seat in front. Because nobody else sat on her seat until she left the boundaries of Hogwarts for good. Nobody at all. " Congratulations on becoming Head Girl Miss Hudson." She said. Quote:

"Morning." Theo said quietly as he ruffled around with his stuff. " Prefect Kinsley." She said looking at the boy, " Front and center please..." Quote:

After taking out her parchment and quill, Ella folded her hands and waited for the lesson to start. Silently, of course. " Hello Miss Bishop." She said. Quote:

Fingers looped around her bag straps, the fifth-year entered the classroom her eyes observing the faces. She wasn't late, good.
Before taking a seat she approached her head of house and nodded, "Good day, Professor Lafay," With that she turned on her heels and made a beelines for one of the seats. " Good Day Miss Sommerlad" She said Quote:

He hastily fixed his hair before stepping into the classroom. So he wasn't late? Yeah? Awesome. His eyes scanned the classroom quickly before resting on the Potions Mistress. "Hello Professor!" he said, walking forward and giving her a small smile. He was about to ask about the Little Professor but... decided against it. It wasn't as if the two, Alec and Lafay, were particularly close. It'd just be a little awkward, yeah?
Shrug.
The seventeen year old headed over towards an empty seat towards the middle of the classroom and sat down. His quill and parchment were pulled out and his bag dropped to the floor, under his desk. There. Yeah. He was ready! " Hello Master Summers," She greeted the boy. Quote:

Lex walked into the class, without much haste in her step. There was no need. She was perfectly early and wouldn't break a sweat trying to be earlier. Though was it possible to sweat in some place so cold? She didn't know.
Glancing around the room she spotted a certain pessimist with an interesting look on life (Steelesheen). Alexa walked over to her and plopped down next to her and the...er...supply cupboard..."Hello Professor." Eyes on the strange claw. "And we're sitting here because?" Lex was sitting here out of curiosity and choice. What was Huxley's excuse?
Oh but there was Cassia. HAI CASSIA! " Hello Miss Cambridge" She said with a nod. Quote:

Nicola ran her fingers through her hair, making a quick check for any strands of hair trying to form a knot, which she highly doubted judging by the fact her whole purpose of being revolved around her flowing locks. And being that her fellow redhead before her who graduated last term; a Miss Ness Dixon, had passed on the Redhead Title to yours truly, she had to represent for all of her fellow redheads out there!
She entered the classroom, taking a quick glance at the Professor at her desk. Nicola cleared her throat before saying in a calm tone, "Professor Lafay.." Without a moment of hesitation the seventh year made her towards a seat and placing first her things, then her bum down. Quickly crossing her legs, Nicola then flipped some of her hair out of her face. Letting out a soft sigh, she began to examine her nails a bit as she waited for class to start. " Miss Kusakindla," she greeted. Quote:

And a bobble. Spotting the object on her wrist, she tied her hair into a ponytail before putting on her glasses. Ready for this lesson, uh huh. She nodded back to the girl, but wouldn't smile back... she didn't want to look 'soft.' Quote:

She debated the problem mentally for a moment, and then got out her stuff anyway, placing it on the table in front of her and making sure everything was lined up at right angles. Cauldron at the lower right, quill parallel to notebook edge, inkwell in the upper left corner. There. Hecate nodded to her girl as she saw her greeting. Quote:

He found one seat in the middle because he did have trouble seeing especially when it got smokey and steamy in this room. He even put on his glasses sometimes too but no one really knew he wore any.
He sat by his cauldron, took out his notebook and quill and waited for the lesson to begin. While he was waiting he couldn't resist the urge to doodle. " Hello Master Lecium" She greeted. Quote:

He entered the room and took a seat sorta... in the middle of people. Let's see who we blow up today, hmm? "Good day to you, Professor Lafay." " Good Morning Master Branxton." She said. Quote:

Either way, Potions seemed really awesome. Sophie's mom was a Potions Mistress, too, so this sort of thing ran in her blood. She didn't hesitate to go right into the room and head for a seat. "Hello, Professor," she said, grinning as she passed by the woman. She took her seat and said not another word as she waited for class to start. " Hello Miss Newell." She said eyeing the child. It was so easy!
The girl was very happy to see Mrs Lafay again, her eyes sparkled with joy. She wanted to run and hold her tightly and ask her about her little daughter... Instead, she looked at the teacher and greeted her with a nod, smiling slightly. She was not sure whether the Professor had seen her greeting, however she didn't want to bother Mrs Lafay asking her about it. Then she took a seat near to her friends and waited for the class to begin. She returned Glasswell's nod with one of her own. Quote:
