Lex had lost her voice, she had. She didn't have anything to say and probably couldn't speak anyway. Lottie...raised her wand at her...and actually cast...like she was just a regular old anyone else.
Her brain was having a hard time wrapping itself around it. The only thing she could think to do was go looking for Cassia. There wasn't a logical reasoning behind it but she wanted to find her anyway. Lex approached the wall and flopped to the floor, waiting for someone to go in or out. Cassia would be inside, yes?
Sitting by the fireplace was very soothing and cozy. Except that she didn't want to fall asleep or relax. She needed to finish these couple of chapters but her brain was protesting and her eyes only threatened to close for the next few hours. The only solution that came to her mind was to go OUT! In the cold weather. That way she'd be refreshed.
Putting on her winter gear, the snake grabbed her bag and headed out the common room.
To the grounds or wherever her feet carried her.
As soon as she stepped out of the common room she felt the temperature drop but went on because she only say the silhouette. She inched closer and paused seeing that it was Lex.
That got her surprised and worried seeing how the lioness was sitting with a blank face. Slowly, Cassia stepped closer and sat down facing her. "
Hey, there," She said trying to read her bestie's expression.
