She continued to work on the breast plate as West polished the armor. She turned and gave him a smile. "Thanks. I've been practicing flying on my own a lot. And Derry and I have gone out a few times so I can practice with the bludgers." It was definitely nice to be able to practice the position she was actually going to be doing.
"And Botros is cool too." Which helped so much. It sucked when a good subject was wrecked by a professor what you couldn't get along with and all that.
"Excolo." West cast again and finished polishing that bit of armour. Next? Mhmm.
He nodded.
"Yeah well, Derry's a good Beater." But HE was the better flyer, no contest. West spread his arms wide and put a grin on though.
"But target practice." Could give it a go right? Thwacking a Bludger was one thing, but actually hitting a live target was another thing entirely. He was offering his services.... y'know, if she was up to the challenge.
"Offer stands if you want to anyways. Just let me know I guess." West went back to polishing.
