He made a face as he swallowed it--it BURNT!--but didn't back off. If she was still the same Louisa, things would get ugly but he didn't care. He wasn't going to let her be drunk, and this was an attitude.

"I've moved to London," he said as if nothing had happened. Only, his face was flushed and he was breathing a little more heavily.

"With you?"

"What, like, permanently? You live here now? What about school?" He couldn't have finished so fast, no matter how smart he thought he was. "I'm on my summer break. I stay here until February, unless something happens and I go back there running." Like her stepdad being a prick.
